In his monumental five-volume series, Jesus of Nazareth Yesterday and today, Juan Luis Segundo attempts to place the person and message of Jesus before us all, believer and unbeliever alike. He shakes off the christological dust of previous centuries so that we can hear the words that Jesus spoke. Having set forth his terms and methodology in Volume 1, Segundo, in Volume 2, develops a novel approach to a classic theological pursuit: the quest for the historical Jesus.
