BOOK I is intended lo help the first year high school students search for their self-identity. The lessons focus on the growing adolescents-their self-worth and the values of individual identity. The learning situations are keyed to the preteens, real-life experiences which, discussed in class, provide them with a clear concept of themselves within the personal, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of their life. A wealth of exercises on self-discovery builds the students' awareness of their natural capacities as individuals.
