Catholic Pentecostalism

The Catholic charismatic movement is the most dynamic movement in the Church today. It is also very controversial, with vocal adherents and equally vocal detractors in more than a hundred countries.
Catholic Pentecostalism is a study of the movement – what it is, where it came from, where it is going, what it has to offer the Church. the book examines such matters as ‘tongue speaking’ (explaining its meaning); considers the phenomenon of healing and importance (the author is a member of the Medical Commission at Lourdes); and discusses the dangers from both within and without the Church itself.
The book carries a foreword by Bishop Langton Fox, who has been specially designated by the Bishops’ conference of England and Wales to be ‘ecclesiastical assistant’ to the charismatic movement.
