When the railroads first pushed across the great West of the United States, Walter Chrysler was a boy who loved trains. As a young railroad worker he learned to love the tools and the machines that made them go. From out of the Kansas rail yards, Walter Chrysler moved across the country-always seeking new and better ways to use machinery. Through years of hard work, he became a pioneer in the growing automobile industry.
