Rediscovering Jesus is an illustrated booklet that invites readers, whether individually or in group, to reflect in a very personal way on the life of Jesus and how it applies to them now. Questions throughout the text touch upon current concerns and issues and help participants to come in to a close encounter with the Jesus of yesterday and today.
The work is divided into seven sessions, each focusing on a part Jesus’ life. Each session is comprised of different section, such as a description of an aspect of Jesus’ life and what it means for us to day, and how we many act on the Christian message in a positive a way. In addition there is a prayer section and suggestions for follow-up activities during the week.
This unique resource, edited by a group of ecumenical authors, would be a perfect Lenten activity within a Christian parish or congregation, or a way for churches, regardless of denomination, to come together to develop their appreciation and knowledge of Jesus.
