Ladislas Orsy, S.J., is internationally respected as a leading expert in canon law. He has written several books
and numerous articles on canonical and theological questions. He holds his doctorate in canon law from the Gregorian University, took his degree in civil law from Oxford University, and did his graduate theological studies at the Facultes St. Albert at Louvain. He taught at the Gregorian University, Fordham University, and at The Catholic University of America, besides being visiting professor at several academic institutions.
