The law of life is love; by divine decree, we are to fall in love with God and show it by our love for man. The Saints were giants in the science of love; they loved God in a heroic way and, because of that love, cherished their neighbor with a spillover of the love of God. Volume I of Family Lives was well received. It , as well as this volume, is a compilation of the Saints of the Month, published by the Carmelite Missions. The St. of the Month Letter is sent to any and all who request it, asking that when possible, a voluntary donation be given to the Carmelite Missions to help the poor in the mission lands where the Carmelites serve.
