One of the greatest contributions of modern biblical scholarship is to point out what is called "the author's intention", that is, what were the reasons for writing and what kind of message he wanted to convey. Thanks to that, we are able to surpass many erroneous conclusions that were taken from the Bible. In this book the author guides the reader in a simple, clear and pleasant manner the new biblical studies as a help to better understand the sacred text.
This book does not say anything new. It only aims to share important themes based on the findings of modern biblical studies. It also aims to bridge the gap between exegetes and the people of God, to bring the latter closer to the findings of the former. The only merit of this volume is to share the exegetical, philological, archeological and theological questions that other authors have discussed in plain and understand able language.
