St. Mary Magdalen de’ Pazzi was born in Florence in April 2, 1566 from the noble family de' Pazzi. She had a religious upbringing and from a young age she dedicated herself to the spiritual life. She entered the Carmelite monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Florence, where she led a hidden life of prayer and self-denial. praying particularly for the renewal of the Church and encouraging, the sisters in holiness. Her life was marked by many extraordinary graces. She died in May 25, 1607 and her body is enshrined in the Church annexed to the Monastery in Careggi - Florence.
