This book chronicles the story of the Carmelites but especially of the Discalced Carmelites, stemming from St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Though this book was printed 35 years ago and subsequent important historical developments have occurred, it currently is the best available history of the Discalced Carmelite Order. That is why we are presenting it in a limited edition.
