The Zondervan Pictorial Bible Dictionary is designed to provide quick access to information about the Bible in both words and pictures. The more than 5,000 entries include discussions of historical, geographical, chronological, and biographical aspects of the Bible; as well as articles on theological subjects. More than 700 pictures shed further light on many topics. The spelling of names of persons and places has been taken from the King James Version; alternative spellings found in the American Standard Version and in the Revised Standard Version have also been noted.
