JESUS CHRIST, crucified and risen, Lord of life and history, must be the living and eternal ideal for all consecrated persons. They live by his word, they walk in his company, they enjoy his inner presence, they participate in his saving mission. His person and his mystery are the proclamation and the essential witness
of their apostolate. They cannot live solitary lives when he fills their days and hearts. Doubts should not be present concerning one's own identity and mission when announcing, communicating and incarnating his mystery and his presence among mankind.
