Sister Veronica of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is a nun of the Carmel of Mary in Wahpeton, North Dakota, USA. She made her solemn profession on February 2, 2011. In May 2017 she attended an international ongoing formation course in Rome and Florence to culminate the year-long celebration of the 450th anniversary of the birth of St. Mary Magdalen de' Pazzi (April 2, 1566-2016). While there she discovered that the French critical edition of the works of Venerable John of St. Samson was being published by Edizione Carmelitane.
Exercise of Loving Solitary Spirits in their Solitudes is Sister Veronica’s first work of translation for Edizione Carmelitane. In this set of 30 meditations, John of Saint Samson invites us to listen in on his prayers of aspirations as we make our way through the liturgical year and through the various Mysteries of Christ and His Church.
