Over the years, the members of the JPIC Commissions have been drawn from the different groups within the Family. This handbook, addressed to the whole Carmelite Family, results from the reflection and work of those members. I suggest that this inclusive approach might be benefical both to the ongoing development of our theoretical reflection and to our praxis in the area of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation. It is likely that different appraches or emphases will emerge from this shared reflection.
