As a Roman Catholic monk, a Chinese, he refused to denounce his church or compromise his faith as the Communists swept over Mainland China in the early 1950's. Imprisoned in the "Labor-Reform Camps" of Communist China for more than two decades, Brother Peter Zhou Bangjiu held securely to his sanity, his beliefs, and his life through his steadfast faith in the Lord God, his prayers, and his poetry. He survived. Now, this spiritual warrior tells his story.
