The writers, all of whom heve been active within the past century, are a distinguished group ranging from scuh older masters as George Moore, Lord Dunsany, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, and William Butler Yeats to such contemporaries as Paul Vincent Carroll, Mary Lavin, Sean O’Faolain and Frank O’Connor.
