Dear Mr. Kern:

It is my honor to inform you that the Holy Father, Pope
|ohn Paul II, is pleased to bestow his Apostolic Blessing on the
participants of the 23rd Annual International Convention of
the Calix Society being held in Indianapolis, September 5th,
6th, and 7th, 1980.
In relaying his warmest greetings, Pope fohn Paul II wishes
to renew the commendation which Calix received from Pope
Paul VI during the historic audience at the Vatican in 1974.
In its Program, Calix demonstrates vividly the Christian
mystery-that God employs human weakness to fill us with
strength and power. May Calix prosper and touch those in
need of its restoring hand.
