If love is blind, didn`t St. Augustine, the famous theologian and philosopher, make a mistake when he wrote "non intratur in veritatem nisi per charitatem" (truth cannot be reached by man unless through love)? Major debates on human rights, about the human responsibility, either moral or social, are just sheer nonsense if man is not free. “But man is indeed free!” Really? What is freedom? Could you defend your argument in front of a determinist who denies freedom based on socio-biology and some material theories which influence many system on sociology, biology, and psychiatry?
