Mission wells up from the womb of God, who sends us his Son, and from his Son, also sends us the Holy Spirit. Mission in the starting point of all the paths of God. In this movement of God's self-giving, the different forms of Religious Life take their origin and from that context they assume an identity and function in the Church. Religious Life traces its origins in the dynamism of the mission which comes from God. It is the form of Christian life where in persons are "consecrated and sent to the world" by the Abba, in the same way as Jesus was, in order to exercise a symbolic-prophetic and liminal function within the nissionary Christian community.
