This is the fruit of a wide experience of group prayer in many different parts of the world, and particularly of the ‘house of prayer’ movement, but the meditations passing into spoken prayer which form its first five chapters are also for the first five chapter are also for those who physically speaking pray alone. The whole communicates ‘joy and peace in prayer’, and deepens as well as integrates the constant concerns of Fr Haring’s other books. For ‘prayer is theology and all theology becomes prayer’.
