Since publishing in 1959 her first book Meditations, Chiara Lubich has written extensively on a variety of spiritual topics drawn from the gospel message and its perpective together three of her previous works: When Our Love is Charity which places particular emphasis on mutual love as expressed by Jesus in his new commandment; Jesus in Our Midst focusing on the spiritual presence of Christ in the community; and When Did We See You, Lord? which deals with the need to discover God in our fellow human beings. It is full of formative insights that can help every Christian grow in their love of God and neighbor.
