SYNERGETICS may well represent the next step in the evolution of the human mind. For the individual, a synergic state would be one of high intellectual and creative functioning, in which culturally and emotionally imposed limitations would be broken down and the entire psyche would exist in intellectual and emotional harmony.
For groups, SYNERGETICS would mean a coexistence of several goals, functions and view-points that would contribute toward a greater whole. Rather than an "either/or" view of goals, synergic individuals within a group operate under a "both/and" supposition, which would ultimately lead to greater productivity and harmony within the group.
For societies, SYNERGETICS would obviate the need for the social/political machine which now rules our planet. Warfare, and tho balance of terror would no longer be necessary because the peoples of the earth would be able to coexist in harmony, and no system of one group would be a threat to another.
SYNERGETICS is seen as a higher level of intellectual 'functioning that is possible for man. Today most of the world functions on a lower level, where conflict is accepted as unavoidable, and violence is tacitly assumed to be. the ultimate, if undesirable, solution to conflict. For Synergetic individuals and groups, Violence and coercion are not only unthinkable but unnecessary.
