This volume contains all the studies presented in the International Symposium on Asian Mission in Manila, Philippines in January 2002. The theme of the symposium was “Empowering the Asian Church for God’s Mission”. One of the first groups of mission thinkers gathered from various parts of Asia and the rest of the world to discern God’s plan for the Asian church for future mission, challenges, and opportunities before the emerging Christian Churches in Asia.
