In many respects this is not only a good book, but a great book. To this reviewer’s knowledge there is no more thorough op-to-date treatment of the matter of human sinfulness available in any language… this is a book which is not for reading but for studying; and if studied it will more than reward a person for all the time devoted to it. Reading this book carefully would be much more worthwhile than reading seven or eight books of less insight and less theological competence.
